Nicoleta's impressive national debut came at the 1994 Romanian Junior Championships. She placed second in the all around and first on bars in the 10-11 year old group. As a member of the national team from 1993-1999, she competed at the 1995 Jr. Euros at the 1997 Jr. ITC. She competed throughout 1997, but was rarely seen after that. It was reported that Octavian Belu removed her from the team in 1999 and she returned to Petrolul Ploesti, her home club. |
